Rev. Barbara Davis
Barbara M. Davis was born in Norwalk, Ct to the late Sarah Mildred Freeman she was the 7th of twelve children. She is a graduate of Norwalk High School class of 1958 and a Graduate of School of Theology of Virginia Union in cooperation with the Ct. Institute of Religion in 1996.
She is a retired State of Connecticut Community service Representative for 25 years with the State of Connecticut which after retirement in 1997 went on to work at the Norwalk Courthouse, Norwalk Emergency Shelter and volunteered for the Norwalk Hospital Emergency room, State of Connecticut probation and senior center.
She is a musician in her spare time and has now gone on to teach children for the last 9 years her gift of music, her love of Seniors has lead her to her internship for ministry with seniors at Westport Healthcare.
She is the wife of the late Deacon Nathaniel Davis and the mother of 4 children 2 daughters in laws and 5 grandchildren 1 great grandson
Rev. Curtis Langley
Reverend Curtis Langley is a member of the ministerial staff at Grace Baptist Church, Norwalk CT where his Pastor is Rev. Dr. Lindsay E. Curtis. He has been a member for over 31 years. He was licensed to preach the gospel and exercise his gifts in the work of ministry by Grace Baptist Church in 2008 and ordained in 2013. He received several certifications from the National Baptist Convention, USA including certificates in pastoral counseling, ministerial ethics and etiquette, contemporary and homiletic preaching and received his Chaplain Certificate from the Chaplains Professional Development Institute. He currently leads the evangelistic ministry and his services and initiatives reveal his commitment and passion for ministry and ecumenical outreach. Rev. Langley has preached in distinguished pulpits throughout Connecticut.
For over 17 years, Rev. Langley served as a deacon and he currently teaches bible classes and seminars in various locations throughout the state. He is active in the Interdenomi-national of Ministers Fellowship, Congress of Christian Education of the Connecticut State Missionary Baptist Convention and the National Baptist Convention, USA.
Rev. Langley is a native of Farmville, North Carolina. He has been a resident of Norwalk, CT for over 50 years. Rev. Langley is a Fire Commissioner for the City of Norwalk and Chaplain for the Norwalk Fire Department. In addition to his religious vocations, Rev. Langley worked for Connecticut Light and Power and retired after 39 years of service. He is a graduate of Norwalk Community College with an associate’s degree in business and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree. He is an active coach, referee, mentor and counselor in the community.
Rev. Langley has been married to Betty Langley for 50 years and has three children (Curtis Jr., LaTanya and Lamar) four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
