Purpose of Christian Education
We believe in the Great Commission; as it applies to Sunday School. To change lives for Jesus Christ by evangelizing the lost and disciplining those who respond to the Gospel through our classes, which we study the philosophy of the Bible and it’s teaching on how to live the principles of Christ.
Mission
The Christian Education Ministry is committed to moving members from Membership to Discipleship.“Information and Explanation are Foundation to our teaching, but Transformation is the Goal!” Therefore, we focus on teaching believers to obey him in every aspect of their lives and to develop a relationship with Christ that leads to becoming fully committed followers of Christ.
Goal
Jesus gives us a clear and concise ministry goal: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, “Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the ages.”
Vacation Bible School
Monday – Friday, one week in July every year
Vacation Bible School (VBS) provides a unique approach to learning the Bible and retaining an understanding of Godly principles presented in the Word of God. The programs of VBS increase excitement and participation in the church, evidenced by the consistent growth in attendance and resources used. GBS allows an environment for early spiritual growth, produces a great opportunity for outreach, and gives members of the Grace Baptist Church a greater opportunity for fellowship.
