The Team

Rev. Gilbert Burgess became a resident of Stamford Connecticut in 1989. He acquired a passion for cooking pursued it in the Stamford restaurant industry for over 12 years. Rev. Burgess accepted the call into ministry in 1997 at New Light Missionary Baptist Church in Norwalk, Connecticut. Shortly after, he became a member of the New York Baptist Minister’s Conferences in Harlem New York while working for NEON men’s halfway house, and the Boy Scouts of America inner-city program for Norwalk. After completing the program at Hartford Seminary, he became a member of Grace Baptist Church. Rev. Burgess is currently employed at Chris’s auto repair in Norwalk, CT and proudly serves as the Assistant to the Pastor Lindsay E Curtis of Grace Baptist Church.
